TA Couture’s creations embody universal glamour by offering women contemporary fashion, unique designs and understanding of what looks and feels stunning. Designed with a sense of luxury, our pieces are developed with a vision to make every woman’s fashion dream come true.

 

The “Couture Gowns” and “Bridal” collections feature some of our previous, exclusive gowns & dresses that evoke pure, modern femininity. Another one of our specialties is the use of sustainable fabrics and materials, that have been produced without the use of harmful chemicals, to create wonderful eco designs that make our clients look amazing and feel even better. In addition to our ensembles, we also offer couture headwear. These hats and fascinators are hand-made and can be designed to match your new or existing outfits. Like all our fashion, the headpieces are made right here in Miami.

 

In 1995, Tammy Apostol, the founder and creative director, launched a fashion studio for her trendsetting clients in Miami that quickly became recognized for its elegance and impeccable designs. Soon word spread and the fashionable women in Palm Beach started wearing our luxurious but affordable gowns to the many charity events. In mid-2016, TA Couture consolidated all functions in a new location in Miami. In addition, we are happy to meet our clients in the privacy of their own homes. This creates a very personal relationship, allows enough time to develop a design from idea to sketch, carry out the fittings and even incorporate the customer's existing wardrobe and accessory pieces.

We use the finest fabrics, intricate beading and superb embroidery. All our pieces are produced locally with extreme attention to detail and finished by the most experienced and capable seamstresses, often using time-consuming, haute-couture techniques.

 

After graduating from the Caracas International School of Fashion, Tammy Apostol started her career as an Assistant Designer for Christian Dior in Venezuela before moving to her mother’s home country and attending Marymount University in Virginia. There she took private lessons from French couturier Antoinette Verspoor and broadened her horizon as a Fashion Columnist and Couture Design Assistant. She opened a store on Miami’s Lincoln Road as well as on Palm Beach’s Worth Avenue and a showroom in New York where clients were able to shop for her ready-to-wear designs.

 

Tammy also shares her substantial know-how as a professor by teaching a few select classes in fashion and accessory design at MIU/Ai. She served from 2015-2016 as the Regional Director for South Florida of The Fashion Group International, the largest network of fashion professionals worldwide. Tammy received the prestigious "2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Award" by the organization in the Summer of 2018. Since 2021, Tammy is overseeing the Chicago, St. Louis, New Orleans, North and South Florida chapters as FGI District Director. To support aspiring new designers, TA Couture offers Line Development services and has been influential in helping several clients launch their own fashion lines.
